Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 27, 2026
The short version: GigKeep stores everything on your device by default. No account is required to use the app. If you subscribe to GigKeep Pro and turn on cloud backup, your shift and expense records are also stored in our cloud database so you can sync across devices — and only you can read them. We don't run ads, and we don't collect analytics or sell your data.

What data the app stores on your device
GigKeep stores the following locally on your device to calculate your net profit and run its features:
- Vehicle profile (make, model, fuel efficiency, fuel price, insurance and payment amounts, maintenance and depreciation rates, odometer readings)
- Delivery platforms you select (Spark, DoorDash, Instacart, and so on)
- Shift records (earnings, tips, hours, dates, mileage, calculated profit, notes)
- Expense and fuel fill-up records
- Mileage and odometer logs
- Tax configuration and estimated set-aside amounts
- Driver settings and app preferences
For free users, none of this data is transmitted to Larkspire or any third party. It stays on your device.
Cloud backup and sync (GigKeep Pro only)
Cloud backup is an optional feature available only to GigKeep Pro subscribers. If you create an account and enable it:
- You sign up with an email address and password. Authentication and account management are handled by our backend provider, Supabase.
- Your shift records, expenses, vehicle profiles, platforms, tax configuration, driver settings, and app preferences are copied to our cloud database so they can sync across your devices and be viewed on the GigKeep web portal.
- Your data is protected by row-level security: our database is configured so that only your authenticated account can read or write your records.
- Your device's local copy remains the primary source of truth. Sync runs in the background and works offline.
If you never subscribe or never enable cloud backup, no account is created and nothing leaves your device.
Subscriptions and payments
GigKeep Pro is sold as an in-app subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Those stores process your payment and manage your subscription. Larkspire never receives or stores your payment-card details. We receive only the subscription status needed to unlock Pro features.
Camera and photo access (screenshot import)
GigKeep can read earnings screenshots to help you log a shift. If you use this feature, the app asks permission to access your camera or photo library, and text is recognized entirely on your device. The image and the recognized text are not uploaded to Larkspire or any third party.
Importing data from other apps
GigKeep can import a CSV file you export from another tracking app (such as Gridwise, Everlance, or Stride). That file is processed on your device and turned into GigKeep records. The file is not sent anywhere.
What we do not collect
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers, and no ads
- No crash reporting that transmits data
- No location or GPS tracking (mileage is entered manually or by odometer)
- No sale or sharing of your data with third parties
Push notifications
GigKeep may request permission to send local notifications, such as tax-deadline or goal reminders. These are generated on your device — no notification data is sent to any server.
Data deletion
To delete data stored on your device, uninstall the app. If you are a Pro subscriber and have enabled cloud backup, email us at [email protected] to request deletion of your account and all cloud-stored records, and we will remove them.
Children's privacy
GigKeep is intended for adult gig workers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

GigKeep provides estimates for informational purposes only. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Consult a qualified tax professional for filing decisions.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
